We employ professional people who love what they do. Our Playworks teams are well trained, well qualified individuals who possess a wonderful mix of enthusiasm and patience. Caring souls who love working with children.
Our staff treat each and every child as an individual. All our staff hold a valid Enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the DBS (the new service, which has replaced the Criminal Records Bureau). All our staff are trained in First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene, Child Protection, Health & Safety and Behaviour Management.
We ensure our staff apply their training fully and effectively by additionally requiring them to undertake an in-house induction process and subscribe to our comprehensive Work Policies and Procedures. Our staff embrace this demanding criteria so they can deliver the very best care.
The world is changing, and increasingly working parents are finding it hard to plan their day around school hours. The challenge has been recognised by government, and school clubs are providing a solution.
At Playworks, we are dedicated to working closely with schools, parents and committed individuals to establish and support successful Out of School clubs. That means places where children are happy to be, are cared for, have opportunities for play and learning.
If you are looking to set up an Out of school club, either early in the morning before school starts, or after it finishes, become a partner with Playworks. You may be a parent keen to help other parents, someone who can see a way to support your community, or just someone who loves being around children. We have a range of ways we can help and support you to create and run a school club.
