We are currently looking to recruit experienced and staff motivated for the following settings.
Playworks Ysgol Mynydd Bychan – Club Assistant
We are looking to recurit a motivated Club Assistant to assist the Club Manager in the day to day running of our After School Club based on site at Ysgol Mynydd Bychan, Cardiff.
The post is term time, Wednesday 3.00 pm – 6.00 pm each week with the possibility of additional hours to cover staff sickness.
This is a Welsh Medium school, therefore it is desirable the successful applicant is a Welsh speaker. They should also hold a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or Lev3 Playwork qualification. It is desirable that the successful applicant holds up to date training in Safeguarding, Food Safety, Paediatric First Aid, however, this is not essential and full training can be given.
You must have experience working in a similar type of setting and have a sound understanding of the Childminding and Daycare Regulations Wales 2010 and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
A DBS check will be required for the role, the cost of the DBS must be met by the employee.
