Club Training
Playworks understands good staff don’t grow on trees. Prior to staff commencing employment with Playworks they are fully vetted and receive comprehensive induction training for their role.
All of our staff are trained in Level 3 Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Food Safety, Level 2 Safeguarding, Allergen Training, Autsim Awareness Training and inducted through our Health & Safety and Behavioural Management Policies. Staff Qualifications range from a Level 5 to a Level 2 in Childcare, we also have some unqualified Club Assistants who are currently working towards achieving a recognised Childcare or Playwork qualification.
We make sure that our staff get to know you and the children they care for. Our Head Office actively engages with our staff with a member of the Playworks Childcare Development Team, making regular visits clubs to ensure they are all operating in line with the National Minimum Standards and Regulations set out by The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to provide support and guidance in the day to day running of the club.
No one is ever just left to get on with it. Training & Support are ongoing and ensure we maintain the highest standards of care.
