Playworks Bryn Deri provides breakfast, care for the children who attend Bryn Deri Nursery class.

The club is registered with The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to provide care for a maximum of 40 children each session. The club operates in line with CIW ratios of 1 member of staff to 8 children aged 3 - 8 years.

Sarah Gardner and Katie Morgan Nash are the Responsible Individuals (RI) with CIW for Playworks Bryn Deri.

After School Club

From: End of the morning nursery session until 3.15 pm

Casual Rate: £27.00 Per Session

Monthly Rate £87.00 based on 1 days attendance per week (1 session per week)

The Wrap around club is registered with The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to provide care for a maximum of 40 children aged 3- 4 years.  The club operates in line with CIW ratios of 1 member of staff to 8 children aged 3- 8 years.

Activities offered to the children are planned and delivered in line with the four purposes for The New Curriculum for Wales.

• Ambitious and capable learners who are ready to learn throughout their lives. 
• Enterprising and creative contributors who are ready to play a full part in life and work. 
• Ethical and informed citizens who are ready to be citizens of Wales and the world. 
• Healthy and confident individuals who are ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society. 

Throughout the week PlaySports Sports Coaches will visit the club to deliver sport sessions which encourage physical skills, confidence, teamwork and love of active play in a fun and supportive environment.

Monthly Rate £51.00 based on one days attendance per week (1 session per week)

Playworks Bryn Deri provides after school care for the children who attend Bryn Deri Primary School, Radyr. The club is based onsite in the nursery building and main school hall.

The club was established in 2004 and operated until 2024 from in The Guides Hall in Radyr. Moving on to school site has allowed us to increase our registration with CIW from 24 children per session to 80 children per session.

The club is registered with The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to provide care for a maximum of 80 children each session, aged 3 -11 years. The club operates in line with CIW ratios of 1 member of staff to 8 children aged 3 - 8 years and 1 member of staff to 10 children aged 8 years and over.
