Playworks Dinas Powys provides after school care for the children who attend Dinas Powys Primary School, the club is based on Infant School.

Children attending the club are collected from the designated meeting place at the Junior School site at the end of the school day. Children are transported via a walking bus to the Infant School site where after school care is provided.

The club is registered with The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to provide care for a maximum of 32 children each session, aged 3 -11 years. The club operates in line with CIW ratios of 1 member of staff to 8 children aged 3 - 8 years and 1 member of staff to 10 children aged 8 years and over.

Sarah Gardner and Katherine Watkins are the Responsible Individuals (RI with CIW for Playworks Dinas Powys.

The club is a provider of the 30 Hours Free Childcare Offer for Wales. More information about this scheme can be found here.
